Gas extraction is the key technology of disaster prevention and resource utilization. In this study, a damage elastoplastic constitutive model was developed, and the stress-strain change of rock was simulated by finite element program. Through the simulation of drilling gas extraction, it is found that the gas pressure increases with the increase of the distance from the center of the borehole, and the pressure drop decreases. These findings have practical significance for the prevention and control of gas disasters.
