By conducting a systematic assessment of the performance of steam boiler plants and assessing the potential for improving energy efficiency, it is possible to approach the correct selection and implementation of appropriate measures and technical solutions, which can result in significant energy savings, improvement of production quality, reducing production costs and mitigating negative environmental impacts. The subject of consideration in this paper is a steam boiler plant in the industrial sector, where the main purpose is, with comprehensive systematic approach of the current situation, to consider the possibilities for effective implementation of measures and to analyse the achieved effects that contribute to the efficiency and sustainability of the overall system.
