The height-to-diameter ratio (h/d = 8, where h is the height of the cylinder) is fixed at 8. The drag and lift coefficients of the cylinders, as well as the Strouhal number are presented and compared with those of their 2-D counterparts. Our reĀsults show that the wake of the cylinders indicates a transition from the anti-phase state to the in-phase state at large gap ratios, accompanied by a decrease in the lift coefficients of the cylinders.
